Lovestruck Pharmacists…#AML
I am sure many of you reading this have had that instant connection with someone in your life. That “this person is my kind of person” feeling, well imagine that feeling and then determining you are on the same career path and share all the same initials. For these two lovers that is exactly how their forever started.
Anthony and Alexis were both admitted to the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in 2018. Both determined to fulfill their dreams of becoming a pharmacist. They were a part of a pharmacy Facebook group specific to FSU, but it wasn’t until a night out where they tagged along with friends who were meeting at a bar that they clicked. Alexis asked Anthony his middle name and was shocked to find out that they shared all the same initials - A M L. It was that night that they knew their friendship would be special. So fast-forward to many nights studying together, planning events for the college, and evenings out that it was apparent they were meant to spend forever together.
PROPOSAL:
A + A took a trip with friends to Aruba (picture those picturesque cliffs overlooking the dreamy aquamarine water). Anthony had it all planned out how and where he would ask Alexis to marry him. He recruited his friends to help capture the big moment but little did they know just how windy the spot he picked would be! They shared that you are unable to hear his proposal via the video but you can still feel all the excitement that was shared between the two!
VIBE:
When they toured R&R I can remember them sharing how they played major roles in event planning for the pharmacy program, and that R&R’s natural decor matched their Halloween theme perfectly. Their masquerade-Halloween wedding was filled with many fun twists that you will see featured below. One of my personal favorites was Alexis had T W O dresses - seriously how cool! She wore a stunning white dress for their ceremony and then she shocked all her guests in a beautiful black dress for the reception. You will notice all the fun this couple shared during their big day, a great reminder to truly enjoy everything about your #weddingday.
We also don’t want to forget to mention that this couple kept a BIG secret and helped their friend pull off a proposal during the bouquet toss! What a day to remember.

This fun and enchanting wedding day could not have been possible without their talented vendors. This couple had an eye for creativity and it was truly brought to life by the following wedding pros. Moments like these were captured by photographer Danilyn Photography. Their wedding coordinate Emily DeRitter with The Best Day Details LLC was there all day to help with every detail. The wedding florals were from Plumeria Botanical Boutique. Hair and makeup were through Styles By KK (Stephanie Miller & Tammi Clark). The bride’s beautiful gowns were from Still White. Friends and family danced for hours thanks to the Pro DJs. And last by definitely not least an incredible meal along with an ice cream bar, delicious popcorn, and late-night pretzels all provided by EMA Catering. Be sure to check these vendors out!
